Wasn’t the planet supposed to be well-done by now?

First, people didn't think the planet would be done. Secondly, your mentally ill behind thinks that is relevant. What a dipshyt.

Yes, it's actually only 56 degrees here in South Dakota today. Been cool for most of the week.

Of course, that's offset by the fact that there should have been 12"+ of rain already this year, but they're below 9". Which is small potatoes compared to the fact that Sioux Falls averages 45.3" of snow a year...and got less than 16.1" this winter. More than 60% of the state is in official draught conditions, most of that severe, and that extends to a number of states around us. Farmers are worried. They're already taking it on the chin due to the trade war.

The falls that give Sioux Falls its name are in a sorry state. If things persist they're going to have to rename the town Sioux Trickle.

The Big Sioux River...in 2022. It looks worse today. This is the third draught in 5 years...also known as a "trend." Whereas samples of one are - such as one cool day or even a week - are statistically irrelevant if the average temp keeps rising. And it is.

Interesting info. Zukks for SD. You ever make the trip to the Black Hills? IMO, that is one of America’s most underrated forest regions.

BTW, the post was to troll geech, JJ89, ninety two, Birm (no show), PBT (no show), AustinPowers (no show), and some of the others who get worked up easily.

It did, however, get a rise out of one of TNet’s more sober liberals I.e., Lester.

Maybe so, but if you ask Congress, it’s the most important 0.0000347% of the Earth’s surface.

So there’s that.

According to Al Gore the polar ice caps should have been completely melted by now.
Don't get me wrong, I am for clean air, big it's hard for us to make any real difference with China and India powering their nations off unscrubbed coal generators.

Who cares what he said as far as time frame? Moreover he didn't say by now. He said in 50 to 70 years and that was in the early 2000's. What we do know is that they are melting at a very accelerated rate.

You could always take out yourself, family, and friends to do your part to end global warming. Have you given that any thoughts or don't you care about Earth?
