that a "top" level team in the nation is encouraging one of Clemson's top D lineman to transfer.
My first thought is Ruke and Michigan since he's behind BB and probably could be starting elsewhere. That and Harbaugh is a dbag.
Surely coach knows this if it's being reported by a website. Providing there's evidence, it would be awesome if they were exposed for tampering.

Doesn’t that player have to be in the portal before making contact. I know no one so enforcing this stuff, but at least technically isn’t that supposed to be the case?

It doesn’t matter anymore who initiates contact. Get use to it…..it’s called college football. Wait until you see some QB that’s paid 4-5 million to come to their school and then ask for 7-10 the next season or he’s gone.

Tampering is evidently pretty commonplace now and NCAA is doing nothing about it. I think Dabo mentioned that is another problem with the portal.

It is technically against the rules for a school to contact a player that is not already in the portal. That would be tampering.

It's debatable for sure but they did make the playoffs last year even though they took a beating. We know for sure know it's not usuc. UM was just my guess.
