He's 235 pounds and runs out of bounds when a safety is in front of him instead of getting the extra yard or two.

He’s hurt. He has been hurt since the APP state game. Playing through a shoulder injury. I’m assuming he will have surgery after the season.

It might have been a coaching encouragement. In previous games, he was PUNISHING defenders on contact, especially late in games.

Yall it’s hard to blame the kid.

He has an NFL future and he knows we’re not going to the playoff so why take extra hits on his body when he’s already getting 95% of our carries this season bc we have no legit D1 level guys behind him.

I wouldn’t take unnecessary hits either when all that’s on the line is his NFL future.

At 30+ carries a game hard to blame him for trying to stay upright when he can. Why don’t we have anyone else getting carries?
