A big part of coaching is knowing when to pull players that are missing and try someone else off the bench. Brad sticks with guys that are having an off night, all night and tells them to keep shooting. It makes games tough to watch.
I really enjoy the wins, but the losses make it tough to watch most games. Winning becomes a relief, and next year will be year number 14. Ouch.....

I don’t tweet but - all seem to be saying what TNET has been .. a national embarrassment. Where are the Brownnose pumpers now? Our AD should dry the wet behind his ears and move on from this continual garbage (after wiping the egg off his face from his vote of confidence). Neff and BB made matters worse by doubling down and whining about not making the tournament, then tripling down by stating they both viewed us as a tournament team … both appear clueless.
Hurry football !!!!

…able to put the institution that they work for through this sort of decades-long humiliation and just keep cashing the checks.
I mean absolutely no shame whatsoever. CBB must think all of this is FUNNY. That’s all I can come up with.
For the amount of money he has earned in this position, where is his dignity?

My compassion and humanity would compel me to do SOMETHING to prevent these players from repeatedly becoming the subject of ostracism.

…basketball for a few years. Take it into bankruptcy, “pay off the creditors”.
Let Clemson RE-THINK their goals, ambitions, & MORALITY. Take some time to atone for your sins.
IF Clemson decides to give it another try in a few years, the program will have a perfect mental RESET.
Studies have shown that people who go through a DIVORCE and RE-MARRY in less than 3 years, stand an extremely HIGH chance of DIVORCING AGAIN.
The human body and mind needs TIME to recover from emotional trauma.

Has there ever been a coach at Clemson, who stole as much money as a Brownell?

Thankfully, I was smart enough to turn the espn+ feed off and watch 1923 on paramount plus. I’ve seen this rerun for the past 13 years. We the boosters have the power. We must start a movement to make men’s basketball as relevant as women’s softball. SMH. Someone start fire Brad Brownell website please! #firebrownell

I’m stunned to be honest. Seriously Clemson??? What is it with this program, Year in, Year out, they either show up an look like a Powerhouse winning the overseas tournaments against international talent, but then to come back and compete against the level they should be able to size up with, compete and win. Only to go in week after week looking down right disappointing! I’m all for a Coach getting chances to improve his program and recruit better. Yet, with Coach B, I don’t believe he can pull it off again. Hate to say it, but perhaps it’s time to move on from Coach B, find a Coach who can take this program to the level of Alabama. If Clemson can find a Coach like that, who can turn the program from a hit and a miss, to a monster team that dominates opponents unmercifully, then will we see Clemson bring home a Championship. It’s time to part ways with Coach B and look for that diamond in the rough of a Coach. Just my thoughts.

If he wants to keep coaching...

Brad should refuse his salary this upcoming year and leave it to build up a fund for the next coach. It's like the athletic department has just embraced the idea that mediocre is the standard.
Here's my idea. Let Dabo pick the next basketball coach. When he's had people underperforming on his staff, he's been willing to cut them loose. It's never pleasant to fire someone, but if you want to be the boss, you're accepting that responsibility, regardless of how you feel about that person personally.
I'm sure Brad is a nice guy, but he's not a coach that is capable of producing the results up to the standards that Clemson should be demanding. 13 years of evidence should be enough to take a different path. What's the worst thing that could happen? We don't make the tournament and lose in the first round of the NIT? Well that's where they are right now.
