Good morning everyone how was your weekend?

Friday night, off to a bachelor party, a lot of alcohol was consumed and ######## spouted. I got picked up at 11 and shortly after I left the owner of the place rolled up and kicked everyone out for "having a party." Very dangerous situation as from what I'm told this fool wasn't even letting them arrange rides.
Saturday, my drunk ### was up at 5 to load up the truck to head to the https://www.hoppypossum.com![]() The Hoppy Possum A beer festival where all the beer is something unique, something you have never tasted before, and likely never will again. The Hoppy Possum in Johnson City, Tennessee features only the best amateur brewers from around the country, serving exciting craft beer they created. where Sharkgirls blue raspberry sour patch kids seltzer won 3rd in the non-beer category. $300 bucks aint to shabby. Another member of the clue, who Tote1 also knows via other means won 1st in the same category. I was only able to see bits of the football game. Cade just makes one killer mistake per game. I also saw the defense leave FSUs best receiver totally alone a few times. I talked too an old timer at the festival and asked if he ever felt Danny was lying to us. While some fans are just idiots who thought the big big winning would go unchecked forever, I believe many of the fans just want Dabo to be more honest in the assessments and what he spouts.
Sunday, rode home, got stuff cleaned up, and watched a little more football.

Pretty low key. Football, yard work, washed the car, cooked a porterhouse.
9.6/10 (18.24/19 on the RH Covid scale) with deductions for 2 horrible game changing plays.

Fri night - picked up pizza for dinner and watched a movie
Sat - A lil trafficy into Clemson, breakfast was delicious, then we played for a field goal when we didn't have a kicker. Got home around 5:00 and watched more football.
Sun - Church in the morning, took Msjr to soccer practice, pretty sure her teammate (4 or 5) got a concussion. Worked on a deer stand - then dinner and smores outside.

Chilled most of the weekend and worked on a desk for DIL.
I guess I am getting old as I was not really upset we lost. I think this team could win out or lose out. Strange days.

camping night behind the church. Smores were had by all. Two youngest had a blast. Saturday morning we came back and unpacked and watched the game. Wife took oldest and a friend to the game. I had promised our cub scouts I'd take them camping so I couldn't make the game. Begged wife but she doesn't do camping. Whatever.
Sunday did grocery run, visited with Mom, and cooked Salmon for supper. Wife hates salmon but kids love it. So she ate something else.
On way to Loris today. Yall keep it clean and mature in here. I know you will.

Enjoy the day in Tiger Town even if the ending to the game wasn’t what we wanted.
I must say the improvement to Perimeter Road is working already and will be even better when they get it finished. Traffic flow moved nicely before and after the game.
FSU couple that sat next to us was nice and once again the seats in front of us were empty so good game experience was had
Still gripes me that the stands are half empty for the first five minutes of the 3rd quarter but that is what it is
The 4th quarter video curse is intact. Nothing good ever happens to Clemson in the first 5-10 plays of the 4th quarter at home. Been that way for years. Kind of makes the video a joke.

it was pretty much a big shitsandwich. I thought I was prepared for Mom's passing but no matter how much you tell yourself that, you really can't do it. Went to the game Saturday, but I'm not sure I really wanted to be there. We all thought RH Mom would want us to go, especially since IPTAY honored RH Sis on the field before the game. Did get to see 19B®, which is always great. Mostly just a long weekend of trying to get arrangements finalized and occupying myself with mindless tasks because sitting still for too long didn't seem helpful helpful.
I'll be fine but don't think in all fairness I can really put a Covid scale number on the weekend. It just is what it is.

Cashed in a belated bday present and spent weekend in Clemson with my wife. Rented an AirBNB off of Lake Hartwell, had dinner in Clemson Friday night (the restaurant inside Lakeside Lounge Hotel near 123/93). It was decent, nothing special but only place we could get in since I waited way too long to try and secure a reservation.
Many thanks to Willmo® for letting me park at his place for free and having a beer with me before the game, saved me a bundle on parking costs
Also I've seen a lot of posts about it, but until I saw it with my own eyes I couldn't believe how much the campus and downtown has changed in the past few years. Did a quick drive around campus on Friday and couldn't believe how many new buildings I saw. We did really enjoy having a drink on the rooftop of the new Shepherd hotel downtown though

Friday busted out of work early and got in a nice bike ride, ran a couple of errands.
Friday late Brother-of and Nephew-of arrived after flying into ATL. While waiting on them I watched the end of the UVA-NC State game and texted Brother with updates to the shenanigans. If you missed it, it was something else. Very ACC. Greeted guests and crashed soon after.
Saturday up early. Car was already packed the night before, ready to go. Hit Greenfield's as they opened for a dozen fresh bagels and then back to the house to collect everyone for the game. Picked up Son-of on the way in and got to the lot before 9. Set up and fried up some bacon, eggs and cheese to go on the bagels. Very nice, it's been a while since we cooked a breakfast tailgate. Had some bourbon and told stories while we sat in the beautiful sunshine. Tigers lost, but I left game pretty happy. First exciting game in a long time. Tigers were good, better than expected. Company was great and the day was gorgeous, although we shoulda packed sunscreen. After the game got out pretty quick and into the fast-moving perimeter road traffic. Dropped off son-of and headed home. Wife-of had made a lovely spread for us so we ate and drank and watched more football. Sadly OSU and Notre Dame did not both manage to lose.
Sunday had great breakfast at Tupelo Honey and strolled around downtown before Brother-of and Nephew-of had to leave for ATL and their flight out. Got home, cleaned up a bit and got in a nice long bike ride on SRT. Chilled on the patio after with Wife-of and enjoyed the weather. Watched a little football and crashed.
9.5/10, would repeat.

Friday handed out some juicy foosball nug to the jounge, I forgot to mention another one where I saw Tyler Davis walking into Publix, that dude eats alot
Love the early morning tailgating on Saturday, walked the dogs, fed them at the tailgate, hung out and drank some beers and made bfast, visited another tailgate and went to meet SST and mrsSST at the house, good people
game was exciting, the crowd was there and into it, Tigers played a good game but crucial mistakes doomed us, oh well, let's beat the cuse!
drank alot more after the game, it was a beautiful day to hang out and chill in the lot
as usual, did nothing on Sunday but watch some foosball, Clemson football seems to take the whole weekend but we only get 7 times a year to do it
Go Tigers!

Trop Storm Ophelia hit and so the Saturday tournament in Fayetteville was cancelled....yaay. Cape Fear Clemson Club watch party for the FSU game, had almost TRIPLE the number of people from our first game, Duke. At one time, we probably had over 30 people there. That was nice, until the game ended. Then the Gamecocks came back AND OSU beat ND. I was pulling for both the Gamecocks and Buckeyes to lose, hate them both.
Then Sunday Arsenal played like shidddd and drew against Spurs, 2-2. That was a bad result for us. Then we went to see middle son's 10U team play the Elite 9U team from the same program. They beat us. Have no fear though, there is NFL games to watch.
Panthers lost Jaguars lost Mike Williams out for the year DW4 still not impressing Nuk had like 3 catches or something
All-around crap sports weekend. Ready for it to be over.

Temps were good but the surf was a little rough for the kids until Saturday. We saw a shark and plenty of dolphins. Beach trips are also my one chance to eat a lot of seafood.
Friday night I made Tuna Tartare (I believe the recipe originally came from a CharlestonTiger15® post), Shrimp cakes with lemon aioli, and broiled flounder with a side of pasta tossed in preserved Meyer lemon sauce. Drinks were Gamechangers.
Mid-day Saturday was the one chance the wife and I had to be on the beach with no kids. Needless to say, I didn't catch our game. Dinner was boudin; broiled shrimp with lime, tomato, and avocado; seared tuna steaks, and blackened grouper. Drinks were pina coladas and banana daquiris. Dessert was lemon icebox pie.
Sunday I experienced the joys of "long" distance traveling with young kids. Overall, solid A+ weekend.

APM loves him some Cali.
Food highlights - tofu bowl at WaBa Grill, churros sundae from a food truck, Greek joint with retsina and Greek coffee with dessert, Cali breakfast burrito, Irish bar with Guinness and an awesome burger (real meat, Kerrygold cheese).
Sights highlights - Hollywood Bowl, John Legend, Seal Beach, Queen Mary, Goodyear blimp.
Experience highlights - Long Beach ferris wheel, rooftop pool at our hotel - spent the most time just chilling outside in the perfect weather.
One off note - had to report our Uber driver taking us home from the Hollywood Bowl. Ukrainian guy who hit a pedestrian in the pickup area.
Oh. And if LA is any barometer, masks are making a comeback.
10/10. Wood dew a gain. Will do again.

Survived my Bday on Friday by having a lovely turkey and mashed potato Healthy Choice dinner, then attempting not to fall asleep by 9 pm watching TV. I gave up on that and just went to bed.
Saturday-did something close to nuthin' most of the day after watching the Clemson game. Later, met some friends-of for sunset at The Wreck on Shem Creek, then went to Red Drum for some dinner afterwards.
Sunday--slept late, watched some TV, then went up to the Southern for a bit to see some music. Left around 6, cooked myself a steak and potato, then watched the newest Daryl Dixon. First one I've heard where he dropped the F bomb, so that must be OK on AMC now.
All in all, weekend was OK, but I'd be OK if I didn't repeat it.

Friday...met wife for dinner at Maki. Came home and crashed...long week of work.
Saturday...waffle House with wife and daughter-of. Then grocery run. Then watched our Tigers give one away that could have put the program back on the right direction. Watched a lot more football.
Sunday...colonoscopy prep day...watched a lot of football and pissed out of the #### a lot.
Monday...colonoscopy went well and nothing was found. This was 2 yr redo after snipping some large polyps last go around. Was done in 2 hrs at AnMed North. Went and had some breakfast out with wife. Let what was possibly the loudest and longest fart of my career...and it's a storied career...out while we were eating in the restaurant. Wife-of didn't think it was nearly as funny as I did. Oops

The usual. Watched the Tigers sn-atch defeat from the jaws of victory. Team is not bad but just needs to grow up. Played golf yesterday (poorly, I'm just not good anymore). Went out to the club, one week from re-opening. I'm excited, but looking forward to playing poorly some more. Helping brother a little to get ready for the quad bypass on Thursday. Gonna dog sit the small pup for them. Going to be an interesting week/month, especially for him.
