So says a whole who did nothing for Clemson and his FB program doesn't even have it's own stadium and no other conference wants them with their past records of corruption. The NCAA should have given them the death sentence when they found they were paying for hookers for the players.

This may be as telling of the statement more than anything else that Clemson and FSU have a place to land, and Miami does not.

This kind of surprised me. I thought Miami would want FSU to go to the SEC and then call B1G and say, "Want a recruiting hold in FL? You can have FL 5*'s watching B1G games every Saturday". B1G will go hard after one of these if not both. SEC already has Florida and UGA recruits well out of FL as well. It just opens up another talent rich state.

With NIL and unlimited transfers, I don't think recruiting HS players regionally is going to be done the traditional way. The more the portal becomes the recruiting ground from NIL tampering, you don't need a team in a certain area. You just need money to buy the players from another team or from a HS.
