I believe a player has to sit out a year if he enters the portal a second time. Since Lyn-J didn't actually play in a game for WV maybe that might not apply.

Sometimes I wonder about our transfers...are they looking for something like Clemson, but quickly realize there is not another program out there like ours out there?

Dixon walked out on a Clemson team that made him a solid player. He was groomed perfectly to replace ETN and he QUIT on Clemson. If he never plays another snap I will be fine with that.

All the more reason to question his leaving. Clemson GAVE you the chance to earn a college degree and you walked out on them when you were needed most.

The reality is they cannot earn starting positions at WVA, Florida or other Div. 1 schools.

Statements like that is why good kids make bad decisions. The worst one in the HISTORY of College Football, Marcus DePre, University of Oklahoma running back, and that was before the portal BS. Bowman will be lucky now to find a power 5 school to even take a chance on him, because from my understanding, unless he's going to grad school, he does have to sit out this time. Dabo was talking one day about portal kids not even get an offer at all, so what do they do now? Lost their scholarship, going from being the next man up to having no where to play, just for listening to some fool, who thinks he knows more than coaches making millions to coach.

I know we aren't the home for wayward boys...but, wouldn't it be a great story for one of these guys that obviously has talent but is missing something in their lives to come back to Clemson and earn time (earn) in the backfield or returning kicks or whatever to be part of that next natty run? LJD or DM obviously had about 9 of the 10 check boxes checked or Dabo wouldn't have recruited in the first place. He is very deliberate and doesn't just throw it out there...just would be a good story for once instead of them making a gameshow answer someday...what ever happened to _______?
