Linked below is a chart of the expenses of every NCAA Tournament basketball team this year. Clemson's expenses are just around $9 million per year. Our basketball revenue sits just around $9.5 Million per year.
Are we up there with Duke, UK, UCONN, MSU, and Kansas with basketball funding? NOT EVEN CLOSE. But if you look straight down that $10 Million line and to the left you will find nearly 2/3rds of the NCAA field. Part of this is due to mid major conference champions but 3 of the 4 #1 seeds spend between $9 Million and $11 Million per year on Basketball (Houston, Bama, and Purdue). These guys aren't spending tens of millions of dollars more than we are.
Don't let anyone try to convince you we are children of the poor in college basketball. We just don't have our expectations set high enough and we CERTAINLY aren't getting our money's worth out of this coach.

head coaching salary is the number one expense of any basketball program. Lots of programs are also carrying payments to former coaches. If you remove head coaching salaries and look at the remaining budget, Clemson is competitive with anyone. It’s Judge Keller’s biggest lie and he’s roped many in with. Brad sucks. Fire Brad.

I just don't understand how we can have all this information

And our AD doesn't have access to it? Doesn't care? Is blinded by personal loyalty?

The sad part and reality is… our football program makes so much money at this point that the administration is content on other programs being average. There is no competitive spirit and as long as we run a clean program and keep the NCAA away, Neff could care less that the basketball program has no direction besides being right in the middle. No one cares because the cash cow is thriving, it’s very frustrating. If the football team was where we were in the early 2000’s they would dump money into basketball, we are just too cheap to spend money on buyouts.

program year and year after year. You think we would have the money coming in if our football team hadn't won 7 of the last 8 ACC Championships and 2 National Championships in least 5 years?

Absolutely, if both bball and football were struggling we would be throwing crap at the wall until something sticks, but since football is thriving there is no need to push the envelope on basketball, we are relevant and make tons of money with football.

We probably don’t pay the AD enough to make tough calls.

We need to start comparing how much we invest in the AD, and pep bands, as compared to other, more successful programs.
That would probably make it obvious.

Sort of excited to see how JK spins this.
Also, it seems like the only plausible excuse Neff has is…”we will not distract attention from our football program by making much of basketball.” <— that’s the only excuse that makes sense to me.

That is absurd to see that Duke was supposed to spend that much money on basketball. Number 1, for what? Number 2, since Duke is a Private school and never releases that kind of data, who guessed at it?
As for getting our money's worth out of Brownell, with the wins we had this year, the answer was yes based on our wins compared to the wins at the other schools. Other than the Duke fake news, the biggest question is what was was the income at the other schools and what were the profits? Clemson made the right business decision years ago to reduce the seating in Littlejohn so we will never bring in the money that a North Carolina or Kentucky does.
