When Ruke says that, opponents should be very, VERY scared.

He can talk the talk. Now, can he walk the walk?
In the words of Mark Packer, "Just go out and show it on the field."

Yes, he has. But,...

Scoring...

"The Tigers have scored a total of 297 points this season; 165 of them came in the second quarter or overtime, which is a little over 50% of their points"
I'm not real sure what they are trying to convey with this sentence. First of all, it is 165 points in the second HALF/OT, not the second quarter. And scoring "a little over 50%" of your points in the second half means you are scoring "a little under 50% of your points" in the first half...which is pretty balanced if you ask me.
The real numbers are 44.4% in the first half and 55.6% in the second half.
If you take away the OT points to get a truer sense of points per minute 1H/2H, you then get 46.5% first half and 53.5% second half, with 3 games having more 1st half scoring than second half.
It's not really as imbalanced as if feels.
FYI, defensively, it is almost a perfect balance. Disregarding OT, 50.3% scoring is in the first half and 49.7% in the second.

The only thing truly holding them back is whether or not the opponents O-Line is allowed to hold or not. If teams start seeing that it'll start being called now and it stops, then that will def be a game changer. But teams know, that's why they've been doing it so much cause they knew they could get away with it....all the way up til the 2nd half of the Cuse game.

I think this is one reason we have often performed better

in bowls/post season. We get non ACC crews and holding seems to be called better. I think it was Big12 officials that called holding against our opponents well in the past.
