In a weird twist, we're asking a familiar question from 2022.

Who would we trust more:
Cade Klubnik or DJ Uiagalelei
I think I would trust Cade more for the following reasons: - 2nd year with Garrett Riley. - 3rd year at Clemson and 2nd year as full time starter. - Better top end speed as runner.
I feel there has got to be a jump in development and things slow down for him. I also hoping the supporting cast (O line and WR) around him gets better. Doesn't seem it would get worse.
I would trust that resume more than just about anyone being on their 3rd OC in 3 years, regardless of how many games they've started.

You forgot Cade does not have a nutty dad constantly meddling in the business.

To be fair there was a two or maybe even a three mph wind that took over the Valley that day. I remember a cup blew off the stands onto the ground in between the wall and the players. It was almost bad.

Neither one can read a college defense. So both are horrible. Clemson in trouble against decent teams. No excuses for Klubnik this year. Better receivers, o line, and Maffah back. He will not only screw it up but transfer out when benched. Mark it down!

Maybe it’s as simple as DJ broke the offense and no great wideouts wanted to come try to flag down any of his wounded ducks. WR recruiting is looking up again.
