I mean, zero push agaisnt UConn speaks volumes for anyone putting it all on DJ. I had REALLY hoped that he would have time to set his feet and make good, on schedule throws. Nooooope! Pa-THET-ic. Keep blaming DJ if we want, the issue has been there for three years now. It's just reached bottom this one (I hope).

DJ has no touch, accuracy, or just plain consistent decision making throwing the ball. Agree, the o line is not helping but I don’t think it would matter much right now if the o line did improve. The damage to DJ (whatever it is) is done for this year.

Oline can't hold blocks for a deep passing game. DJ doesn't have the touch for a midrange passing game. We're stuck running jet sweeps and screens.

Looks like we're running up the middle when they the box stacked but we run it up the gut anyways. Very stubborn this year with play calling.

last 5 years to improve it. Like many on here have said, if we had a good OL, we would have had a good shot at other National Championships.
If "Best is the Standard", why did we let this critical position get to where it is?
We have struggled to develop and recruit OL for awhile now. But Dabo refused to do anything about it.
Why nothing was done is up for debate, but it was his decision.

I'm thinking that our O Line maybe have lost all confidence with DJ behind center, and they believe that it wouldn't matter how much time they gave him, he would screw it up, and they just don't care anymore, but, the O Line actually gave DJ plenty of time today, and he was just as bad today as he's been in any game!!!

The O-line gave him time to throw most of the time. He is not a good passer. Over and under throws often.

Comfortable with quick scripted routes. The RPO stuff just confuses him. But if we’re not gonna adjust at this point in the season then it ain’t happening. Really hope we take out the garbage this off season. Gotta feeling we won’t tho. Has DJ thrown 2 tds in Game this year yet? Didn’t he have like 3 or 4 against Notre dame last year? So hard to understand.

Agreed. O-line is playing horrible. Both run blocking and pass blocking. Injuries notwithstanding, its still downright embarrassing.
On top of that DJ is played poorly. Easily his worst game of the year. We were playing against a JV team at best today.

Our defense shut this team out & emptied the bench & walk-one’s! Our defense is elite enough without Bresee the best player we have & with Tyler Davis playing hurt.
We will be much better on OL next season, we have recruited very well, just needed to eat& workout a year along with learning the offense.
DJ really scares me on every play because he lack consistency & abilities to go through progressions. Dabo said he looked really good in practice this week... otherwise Dabo wouldn’t be playing him.
I think Helms with as much work as DJ has gotten would be so much better.

Jeeze, it's not all on OL, it's the slow developing plays behind the OL that makes them look horrible.
Why could TP get outside in the open? What when TP was in and if he was a decent passer, he had all the time he needed to pass. UCONN isn't the only team that knows DJU is a statue, so you just crash in, don't even have to touch him, he is going to throw it away.
DJ is not even one dimensional. He is a 25%'er, he isn't going to flush and be accurate. He is going to look down 1WR and if he isn't open then he is gonna dump or run. But today he couldn't run, so it's a run play or a 1WR call, if not it's a throw away or sack, therefore he is 25%.
Not picking on a hurt dude but he has had a problem with not looking off players all year.
