He looks like he might be a bit faster than Shipley, Mafah and Williams.

Agree, but Cade has great feet and speed.

If we had several skill people with his feet and speed, we'd be in good shape. He's just a natural athlete/runner and fun to watch. He may just surprise Tennessee with it and break a couple of chunks off.

Cade has the advantage of being chased mostly by linemen and linebackers. I'm not sure if his speed would look all that special when matched up on the outside against DBs.

No, I don't think so but wow, how far we have tailed off in this department? Depressing to think about the burners we have had through the decades on both sides of the ball. James Trapp was sub 4.3 and 10.03 100 meters making him the fastest man in the NFL in 1995. The list is long - we have had some burners but they are long gone.

Maybe but haven’t seen enough of Randell to know. Everyone keeps talking about how fast Cole Turner is. Not sure honestly.

How could I have already forgotten Cole Turner? He looked pretty fast on that deep route.

That's what my eye test says and yes sir 4.6 is fast. Ben Boulware would given his left XXXX to have run 4.6. I think Barrett Carter is down around 4.5 and your talking about an elite player.

He’s definitely up there, just look at the run after the pass he caught and how quick he got the yards needed for the FG. Several plays this year where if he was at QB he’s taking it for 6. His speed alone is going to open up the offense in a way DJ couldn’t

But to answer your question I think it would be between Turner,Williams,Stellato. Randall was supposedly the fastest out of everyone in the spring I hope he can get back that speed.

CK has impressive 200m time I suppose he didn't run the 100
My guess is those two would be neck and neck

Can’t be. He was considered a pro style qb coming out so there’s no possible way he can be fast and we’re doing him a disservice playing in our offense.

For what it's worth:
"Cade did not know his laser 40 yard dash time, but we can rest assured this student athlete has jets given he ran the second fasted 200m dash in the entire school district."

Fastest? Probably not.

One thing that sticks out to me is that he can get up to speed quick based on tape which is all we need to run the RPO effectively and pick up chunk yards when they are there.
I think Ship and Ngata are the two fastest on offense (if we're talking straight line speed no pads).
Would be interesting to see how they lined up but my guess is CK2 probably runs a 4.6-4.7. Quick enough to outrun lineman but quicker LBs and DBs could probably run him down.

Speed on the football field is usually a function of the 40,most of the time that's about as far as you run in a straight line...a better look at quickness would come from the 30...sprint of choice in baseball (home to first)...quickness in football can sometimes cancel out speed...nobody gives a crap about the 220...that's two football fields and an outhouse!
