Maybe not in our regional but they'll get in somewhere, unless ole miss, Auburn, or Florida make a respectable run.
Here's why. Scar is 10th in sec. Sec got all 14 softball teams in the 64 . So esecpn will make sure at least 10 sec baseball teams make it in.
That said, it may very well work out per projections but usually something crazy happens in conference tournaments that decide the seeding.
I was raked over and called a Debbie downer this weekend by simply stating we're not a guaranteed national seed. Do I think we are, yes, because we'll win our pod and make the semi-finals. However, I also think we would get bumped if we lose our pod or fsu/nc state win the tournament.
I think unc is a national seed no matter what. I also believe they'll be 4 sec national seeds, 2 acc national seeds, 1 pac12 or b12 nat seed, and possibly 1 other. I just don't see 3 acc teams as national. Esecpn may not seed the teams but their money will. Jmho.

Why should SEC schools take a #3 seed away from more deserving schools? We’re talking about teams that are 4 games under 500 in conference play. If they aren’t good enough to earn a #2 seed then they shouldn’t make the NCAAT.

I don’t know why these national outlets and tournament committee want to match us up with the coots. I will never forget the coots knocking us out of the college World Series. I think that might one of those years SC won the whole thing.

We also lost to them twice in their Columbia regional. Both great close games where we just didn’t come out on top.
Other than maybe Tate George, those losses in Omaha are right up there with worst heartache I’ve had as a tiger fan. Just brutal

At one point it had the potential to become the Duke/UNC basketball of college baseball. College baseball is still ultra-fringe from a viewership perspective and it had real marketing potential for the uninitiated. Then both schools simultaneously scuttled their baseball programs. Scar by turning their best coach into the (likely second) worst AD and Clemson by firing their coach and replacing him with a meathead who had no business ever wearing the uniform.
