Bakich and company didnt recruit Amp Phillips from Lancaster, SCand wanted him as our #1 starter.

Coming our of HS he was rated as the #1134 RHP, not exactly the caliber of pitcher that CU recruits. He's grown and developed nicely, but some of you have to understand how this stuff works.
