They lose their secondary from last year and return the same offense that needed two pick 6s to beat Michigan and put up 0 on us.

Not the same offense...new offensive coordinator. That's like saying Clemson was the same with Morris and they were with Napier.

I try to stay out of topics like this since I have a bit of a split loyalty issue, but...
They got 1 pick 6 against UM.
They do lose most of their secondary, but the guys stepping in will be ok. It's not dissimilar to Clemson losing 3/4 of their secondary last season and the Tigers ended up ok.
OSU did lose their most dynamic offensive player. I think everyone is anxious to see what kind of difference maker Kevin Wilson is. I think JT will be on the hot seat.
I think OSU has a favorable schedule and they are still very good on D. The O has a lot to prove.
All this September playoff talk is just silly.

I fully expect O31O to pull out all of the stops. After the trouncing we gave them, they need to reestablish the identity so many have anointed them. Both their offense and defense were humiliated by our Tigers and they have to prove to themselves and everyone that they are still a legitimate contender.

Joe21, you mention that their Defense was humiliated? They were on the field for like 85% of the game and only gave up 31. Hmm, seems they have a better D than Alabama to me. I'd love to hear your explanation.

As much fun as I have had bashing Meyer and OSU I think they will be pretty good. They weren't as bad as we made them look last year we were just that good and their game plan fell right into Venables' hands. Their defense actually impressed me in that game but obviously our offense was too much for them especially after being on the field for so long. Our 31-0 thrashing of OSU will have little or no bearing on what they do this year just like the WVU game didn't stop us from going 11-2 the next season and manhandling LSU in the Peach. The score was not indicative of how that game went. The stats were in very much in our favor and we should've won by at least a TD.
