Stats on CU vs. NCST without cupcakes

I ran some stats that I think are important on the games CU and NCST have played against conference teams. We have a larger sample size, but I included ND, a top ten team to our stats.
NCST has played L'ville, VaTech and WF - 3 teams
We have played L'ville, ND, GaTech, BC and Miami - 5 teams
NCST vs Opponents Total Offense - 324/312 Rushing - 150/184 Passing - 174/128 3rd Downs - .326/.370 Score - 20/22
Clemson vs Opponents Total Offense - 467/265 Rushing - 229/83 Passing - 238/183 3rd Downs - .446/.197 Score - 36/16
I realize stats won't matter Saturday, but I'm trying to justify to myself why I'm not overly worried after seeing the product we put on the field. We can certainly lose if we're not focused and turn the ball over, but I think we're clearly the better team (and should be for the rest of the season)and hopefully we'll continue to take care of business.
Go Tigers.

the bookie shortly after and -9. It's up to -11 1/2 now and probably won't stop until -14. Won't matter. We will win by 21-28 pts.

Appalachian State, by the metrics, is a Top-25 team. They are 6-1 and at the top of the Sun Belt, and have pretty much curb-stomped everybody they've played, except Clemson. They play Arizona State in a couple weeks and I've got an eye peeled towards that game...according to S&P+, Appalachian State is the stronger of the two teams...and for whatever inexplicable reason, Arizona State is playing App State in their own house. Could be fascinating.
Whatever, Appalachian State is not a "cupcake". They're actually one of the 3-4 best "Group of 5" teams in the country, up there with Memphis, Houston, and Toledo this year.

I agree that App St will end up being one of the better teams we beat this year (Certainly top half). My exercise was to exclude the "cupcakes" on NCSTs schedule. Cupcake may not apply to all the teams I excluded. I was trying to get to Power 5/conference opponents.
