but I could have done without the shade he threw at the Clemson Basketball program and CBB…
“The call two weeks ago was very serious," Schieffelin said, "and I thought, maybe it's an opportunity to stay around a little longer and join a national championship contender."
“… and join a national championship contender”?
Wow.

I hope Cade can high point Chef in the end zone. Maybe even the Tush Push, or even a jump pass. Add some good scoring options near the end zone!
We don’t really need him as a blocker, we need points ont the board.
Go Tigers, Beat LSU.

Still don't get the insecurity that some Clemson Football fans always want to compare the football with basketball programs?
How come there is no comments about comparing the Football program to the Baseball program or the Soccer program ,or even the Tennis program?
All should want you all the programs to be great!
Back to Ian I think it's great, and no way this was just a way to keep him on campus another year. If Dabo wanted to compete with his potential basketball career even if that was just overseas you know it was costing some NIL dollars. that tells me that Dabo has special packages for him to be a threat at TE, or even under center QB push cush schemes.

We all know that you are a huge supporter of Brad, but you can’t hold that against Dabo when the Chef offers to help him win a trophy.

I see it as a statement about football. He's willing to try and make this ridiculous transition bc Clemson Football is a National contender. Ian seemed to have given tremendous effort to CBB and Tiger Basketball. Good luck #18. Go Tigers!!!

but improving our football program as well.
Everyone needs a little help from their friends, and Dabo is no exception.
Great to see Clemson coaches working together to help one another!

Seems like a stunt.
Hasn’t played or trained his body for football for 4 years. And he’s going to be able to suit up in 3 months and go play?

Why would they be taking up a scholly and paying some NIL dollars when he at least had a pro career overseas with 6 figures attached.
Sounds like they have some unique packages that he can be a threat at on the offensive side of the field.

Pretty sure he will remain on Scholly thru basketball and whatever NIL money he has through basketball as well. I'd be willing to bet it doesn't cost Dabo a dime to add Ian. As far as overseas basketball, he can continue that dream in '26 if need be. Go Tigers!!!

You can’t play football if you are on scholarship for another sport. Has to be a football scholarship or no scholarship.
