Watch an episode of his show and take a shot everytime he says that Dabo's dynasty is over. Try not to get blackout drunk.

Paul Finnenbaum has big ears. If he did not have Alabama to promote, he would be an orphan. If Nick Sabin retires, Paul will be lonely and not know what to do.

Dabo and the staff blew smoke in the pre-season LOL. I keep seeing things on here about the fans expectations... but thats created by the coaches and players who kept talking about how they were gonna play this season. But yeah, Paul is gonna get off to this right now.

Texas is stupid for putting Alabama on their schedule. Texas will lose big and Texas fans will want Sarkisian ‘s head on a stick. Texas is always promoted much higher than they can deliver and this matchup will be no different. The only former coach to beat Sagan is Georgia’s Kirby Smart. I just reviewed the stats for the Rice / Texas game and not impressive. Texas ground game was non existent. So how will Texas beat Alabama ? They won’t. When Clemson put Alabama on their schedule, Tommy Bowden got fired shortly after that game.

Agreed. It’s painful to say. We have to leverage the portal and use NIL $ to buy the best players available. That’s what Everyone is doing. Except Dabo. It shows.

He very well may be right on this. Data and results from 3 of the last 4 games is showing it is over, hard to argue those facts.
Could we be relevant in a 12 team playoff… maybe. But the 4 team playoff we have no pathway. Pitt beat us on a fluke shovel pass, Duke whooped us.

Agreed. However, Pitt beat us because of 2 non-existent pass interference penalties by ACC referees that kept Pitt drives alive on 3rd down. Analyst Brian Griese even said late in the game that "Clemson should be winning by 14 points". Duke outplayed us and we still have FSU, Notre Dame, Miami and NC State coming up. In the current 4 team CFP we would have to win out from here and that's doubtful.

the landscape has passed dabo by. saban has lasted because he has shown the ability to adapt. dabos pride and ego prevents it. even in hiring a hot new coordinator dabo still has to walk around with the play sheet calling plays

I don't think the playcalling from the new OC was the problem. We are completely devoid of elite talent at the WR position. Deshaun and Trevor benefited from throwing to guys like Amari Rodgers, Tee, Mike Williams, etc. Cade has Antonio Williams who on those previous teams would probably not even start. The WR room has to be fixed. I think getting Riley was a great decision, one game does not change my mind on that.

3rd OC and the exact same results. Gonna guess Dabo is the one driving the offense as it doesn't matter who the OC is.
Lost 3 of last 4 and 4 of 7.

I said it last year, problem is not the OC but the players and the head coach. Also let's look deeper into the coaching staff. I'm not sold on this whole hire from within policy he's got going on. In the end, the core issue is at head coach, and I love Dabo, but he's got a lot of evaluating to do.

He needs to hire D1 coaches and not friends and family members. However, he is so stubborn, it will never happen across the board. Maybe one here and one there.

Well, that’s what happens when a program prioritizes religion over football. It eventually can’t stay competitive with others that are more focused on success within the game itself.

In the last 7 years how many National Championships has Ohio State , Michigan, USC and Florida State won in the CFP era ? So called media experts give no respect to Clemson but we have WON 2 against the hardest team to beat in the Title game Alabama. Let that sink in !

I think he is right. He will have to rebuild it, but Clemson won't sniff a national title for a long time. Definitely not within the next 2 years.

There never was a dynasty, a decade of really good football but “dynasty”? Most fueled by BV defense and an offense with a generational QB
