Does anyone feel like he has a shot to be drafted? Honestly, I thought he would be another Watson or Lawrence looking at his high school play. Never seemed to click. Even his freshman year, he had good games, but had statue and feet issues imo.
Either way, best of luck to him!!! He was first class while he was here and dealt with a lot of our frustration with his playing

That 229lbs is the least he weighed since HS Football. He started last season at 265lbs. He must be taking his last chance seriously.

He was actually drafted in the MLB draft a year or two ago...probably should have taken the money then and got on the bus for unlimited Minor League rides.

DJU appeared to play at least 40 lbs heavier than his current weight in his soph year at Clemson. That alone should signal to pro teams he puts in the effort only when he has to for personal gain.

He was a lot more mobile his freshman season. After that he just fell apart and starting standing still in the pocket.

He may have a shot if his decision making/actions got a lot quicker and his throws are way more consistent with accuracy.
They never improved at OSU or FSU, so I say no.

I agree, he carried himself well here and was a model student-athlete. I wish DJ all the best!

Dabo should have forced him to move to tight end and kept chase brice as qb1. I don't wish the man ill in ANY way, shape or form, but I don't even like him, but that's possibly because of his dad and not actually his fault. He should have been a dual sport athlete; he would have stayed in better shape and thereby improving his draft stock in both sports.

Mu unexpert guess is...

He will either be a 6th or 7th round draft pick, or more likely sign as an undrafted free agent.
He might make it as a teams 3rd string QB and be on the inactive list, but more likely not.
I'm guessing he plays in the Spring League (whatever it is called) in 2026.
His best chance to hang on to a team this year is for his agent, and the doctors, convinced some team that whatever injury he suffered last year (Norvell is very quiet about injuries) to his leg in August caused him to be slow as molasses but (and here will be the sales pitch), "He never complained, never mentioned it, never used it as an excuse, but kept right on playing for his teammates and gutted it out. Now, he is 100% healed and is a different QB than you saw last year."
At least, that is what I'm guessing he will be selling. If he can convince a team he is worthy of being the scout team QB, then he might have a shot at making a roster.

I think somebody will at least invite him to camp. He played for an awful FSU team, his record at Clemson was solid, but not spectacular. I am sure there is a GM out there who will see his size and arm strength and attempt to fix him.

I am honestly still baffled he wasn't a standout in college. I watched him a number of times out here in Cali, competing against programs like Mater Dei and he was stellar. Maybe his physical prowess overcame whatever his limitations are (processing ability, etc.) but he literally put St. John's Bosco on his back over and over. I hope he does well in life. He never badmouthed Clemson despite how things went and the nastiness of some of our fanbase.
