I'm happy he is well and kicked cancer's butt, but do not miss his broadcasts.

He has always been very complimentary of Brownell and our program.

I think he’s great for college basketball, and I expect him to be very fair in his comments about us.
Let’s make him an even bigger fan of us tonight.

You mean his comments about their opponent. It will be all about how wonderful Duke is and "their opponent / the other team" is nice. The he will hype a charity and somone that should be in the hall of fame. Incessent name dropping also. He is a massive distraction on tv. Fortunatly the people at the arena and players dont hear him.

Think you don't read him right.
He has been saying very nice things about Clemson from his tweets on his visit.b Real good friends with Tim Bourret who met him at the airport. He always gave Clemson credit when beating anyone including Duke, or playing a great game.
He was the first one that came to Clemson's response saying it was a huge injustice when they didn't make the NCAAT two years ago. Yes, he loves Duke but always respected a program like Clemson probably one of reasons because cheers for the disrespected.

I love him and his enthusiasm. Grew up with him. I believe Dabo has gone to his charity event and maybe vice versa. To each their own but I don't understand how anyone could hate him. The few times we have been good enough to have him on our games he has always been very positive about Clemson. I think it is really neat he is making his comeback in Littlejohn.

If they play well he will get pretty into Duke. If we play great he will give us credit too. He knows Duke is stacked though with NBA players, maybe even a couple of greats eventually. He isn't just going to blow that off and not hype it up.

I think two of his daughters graduated from Duke, one played on the tennis team.
He's like that friend of yours that loves his team and can be obnoxious about it, but because he loves College Basketball so much he really respects quality teams, players, coaches and even fans. He is what is great about college athletics.

Nope. I am glad he is healthy but not a fan of his antics. I will just mute the TV and turn on the radio.
