Wish him the best. He's a talented young man who felt like he waited his turn at Clemson (which he did) just to get bypassed by new talent when he felt it was finally his turn. We probably could have used him last year with all our injuries.

I really hate how this turned out. LJD23 patiently waited his turn and deserved the start against GA while we broke in our young trio of talented backs. Personal differences between him and CJ during a heated disagreement last summer led to this result. LJD made some huge plays for us when we needed em over the yrs. I hate it looks like we turned our back on him. Families fight but eventually resolve the issue. I wish we could have resolved the issue bc we could have definitely used him more last season, especially against GA. Wish u luck LJD23. Go Tigers!!!

If he starts the GA game IMO we would have won. Whatever authority needed to be established, disrespect card played, and perceived required discipline handed down should have been handled in a different manner.

Can't say why CJ was on his butt, but it always seemed to me that Lyn-J never outgrew high school, tried to bounce everything outside and make big plays with his speed.
CJ would know better than anyone that you have to grind out the hard yards inside in order to set up the outside, and if you're going to rotate with other backs EVERYONE has to run inside. If you're afraid of getting hit, getting hurt, fumbling or getting another guy's sweat on you, you will be passed over for your spot in the rotation.

Regardless of his exit here, the kid is a talented back and I was excited for him to get his turn — moreso than he was. But I think his style fits well with this Tenn offense and I hope he can finish strong there and end his career on a high note.

Doesn't sound like he is very committed to anything and certainly doesn't appreciate the fact that schools have given him opportunities. Especially WV. After 7 months he decommits and just before fall camp starts. Doesn't show very good character on his part.
