Another rumor but with this one won't strike so many cords

so many this time you animals won't lynch the messenger.

A report on a Washington DC station says GT and UVA to announce Monday for Big10. Now, some of the bloggers/tweeters types have said similar things but they are not very credible.

There does seem to be a lot of smoke around GT and UVA and the fact this was on a DC station at least gave me more pause than a WCCP caller.

Thoughts?

Conference realignment is going to happen. Who it will involve and when is pure speculation until it happens. A lot more "reports" have been wrong than right. Believe it when you see it.

announcements and discount most everything else. However, it is an interesting pasttime to speculate, as long as we're willing to admit that it's a game we're playing. Regarding this report, should both schools bolt, that action along with MD's, should speak volumes about the management and direction of the ACC. And, if so, I would simply repeat what I've said: that, perhaps, a lot of younger Tigers will begin to understand why some of us older types generally have disregarded and disliked the ACC for years. Regardless, the most interesting development may be how well our administration plays its poker hands in any ensuing game!
