Have we ever thought this before? Wake Forest is coming

Just think, when the season began & we were looking at the schedule most of us thought Wake Forest at home or away is an automatic win....
The last time we lost to Wake in football was when Tommy Bowden got his pink slip...lol
Wake got a good coach & an extra year with 5th year seniors, we hit the injury bug & our offense isn’t very good yet...
Now I’m like we have to play our best game to beat Wake Forest. if our offense will use ball control & actually execute without mistakes Our defense can & will win this game for us. If we hang them out to dry & leave them on the field it could be a long night against Wake Forest... I live in Clemmons just outside WinstonSalem, we have to win this game!
Hopefully Shipley happens!

Wasn't it '79 when the florists came into the stadium ranked? If I remember correctly, they came on the filed like the Titans? Then we sent them packing. I was in the student section. I hope we can do that Saturday.

After Ga they are probably the best team we will play unless we get a really tough bowl matchup. I would love to see us bring it and get a big win. And for Wake to win the div if we cant.

One thing about Wake - they don’t really keep the ball long. They are looking to score quickly so the D probably won’t get as tired as they would against other potent offenses.

You actually had a good post, until you mentioned ball control and execute with out mistakes.
For one, I don't think our OC knows what ball control is and secondly, I wonder if you could give me an actual number of drives we have had this year where we executed without making a mistake.
Oh, and our offense isn't very good. It isn't even good. In fact it's more very bad than bad.

Many of our horse riders at the farm are from Bermuda Run, I live just offf Harper Road so I’m just around the corner. We have a lot of Deacon fans too but it seems Clemson fans are everywhere too.

A lot of Wake, unc, and App State alumni over here. We have just recently relocated back to area after 17 years in Charleston and Florida. I see a lot more Clemson people around than when I lived here before. That’s a good thing!
