TP Isn't the long term answer either. I do wish Dabo, earlier in the season, would have sat DJ for a few series here and there and I think he could have grown a lot from those situations.
No one is going to look good behind that trash OL and that awful wide receiver group we have right now. With that said, I have zero problem with TP getting some playing time… It should have of occurred earlier in the season.

Yes…. He is only a couple of series in and same run up the middle call on first down to put him in 2nd and long again….
Give him time. For goodness sake he just came off the bench and needs to get his nerves in order.

At least he doesn't have a Td pass for Pitt! DJ doesn't have it at all. Failure to try someone else would be devastating to reqruitng. You have to try. I try Helms in the 4th. You have to at this point. DJ may he the best ever but not right now.

Yes. He has shown some promise. It's not easy to be thrown into a two TD deficit on the road and captain a sinking ship.

I heard scuttlebutt today that a new NIL offer came in for DJ from the National Association of Concrete Providers... he gets free concrete shoes and gloves for life.
TP is at least no worse on the field than DJ and he brings energy to the field moreso than DJ has done all season. No offense on the field is going to look good when the energy from the QB is missing. I keep hearing how DJ is a hard worker... apparently that's mostly solo work or he expends all his energy before games so he has none for the games.
We've got other QBs too that should have had shots long before we got to Pitt. Rattler being benched should have been perfect ammo for Dabo to tell DJ to shape up or sit down... it's a shame that Clemson had to be behind Pitt significantly before he made the call.
