Notre Dame, just like Nebraska, needs to accept they'll never be what they once were. Especially if they are wanting to fire coaches before they even coach a full year. At this rate they'll be in the wash, rinse, repeat cycle of coaches just like Miami has been for the longest time.

Can they ever win a championship again? Yeah, especially with the transfer portal implemented now. But it's going to take them sticking with someone who is willing to do it and build something. But the days of a Notre Dame dynasty are long gone. Highly touted recruits don't want to go up north often unless it's the Suckeyes.
