Epic English football on tap this week.

First up, it's my LFC taking their last road trip to play the seagulls of BHA, which is fitting, since LFC have been on a beach and sand non-stop bender since wrapping up the title in April.

Then Wednesday it is a battle of EPL #17 Tottenham vs. EPL #16 Manchester United for the Europa League championship. Two traditionally strong teams playing for a second-tier Euro trophy. But it's all either of them will have to show for a crappy season, so expect a good game.

Then Sunday should be some epic futbol. All games played at 11:00 our time. Pretty much teams 2-7 have a chance for the Champions League or Europa League next season. Lots of money tied to playing in Europe, so they will be super motivated.

On the other end of the spectrum will LFC vs. Crystal Palace. If you have ever asked yourself, "Wonder what it would be like to see two top-league soccer teams play each other when they are drunk?," this game will be the answer. CPFC just on their first-ever major trophy (the FA Cup) Saturday. As mentioned above, LFC have been drunk in in Ibiza or Dubai between games since April. There will not be one collective phuque given between these two sides. Could end up a 7-6 goal fest (think NBA all star game expect it soccer) or could be the second-team scrubs out trying to show what they've got, but probably not too seriously.

barring anything insane with Goal Differential. But they have a CL spot secured for sure.

Never seen an injury free run like LFC had. They are good and got some lucky breaks.

I'm thinking it is

LFC
AFC
Man City (still can pick up 6 points, 2 games left)
Newcastle
Villa

Chelsea (Draw with Forest)
Forest (Draw with CFC)

CFC is without Jackson, right? And they look so anemic at times, especially with that high powered offense. Should be better. SO much potential.

Yeah Nico caught a 3 game ban for his direct red. I like him, but we need something else at striker this summer after Nkunku crashed and burned after his injury.

That being said we’ve been in good form the last two months and Forest is struggling. I think we pull it out, we have everything to play for.

I dunno. MCFC have just sucked this year. Not sure they can get all 6 pts. Or 3.

Villa vs. a tired MUFC? That's a win for AVFC.

Newcastle vs. Everton at home? That's a win for the Saudis. Especially after Everton spent all their juice saying goodbye to Goodison yesterday.

I like Forest to see off Chelsea (sorry young doc).

Not sure where those results would leave things.

Hoping they can get back to the top level they were at a year or two ago before Pep finishes his tenure there.

Or maybe it's just pretty when your favorite team is playing it and winning everything along the way. 😂 Seeing them get the treble was pretty dang fun, but I can see why other teams would be tired of them.

I've been cheering for City since I was lucky enough to catch a match in Manchester. Saw them play Tottenham at the Etihad back when Milner was playing for Tottenham. That must've been 2003 or 2004, and I was hooked after that... well before they were bought by the sheikh.

Besides, we paid our dues with Man U being Man U and Chelsea beating us out several different times before we finally started clicking. We were obsolete for about 100yrs and started finding success within the last 10-15 years.

I stand corrected. In my house, we hate Tottenham

and Chelsea, we respect Pep but do not pull for MCFC. I've been an Arsenal fan for the shidddy years, none of the real glory, unless you count second place in Europa League (loss to CFC), Semi-Finals in CL, 3 FA Cups and a few second place PL finishes. So close, yet so far away.

He's been a diehard Arsenal fan since birth I think and goes through what life is like as an Arsenal fan -- it was a really good read. I think most Arsenal fans especially would appreciate it. He's a true sports fan.
