Here Fri-Sun w/ 2 of kids and their spouses, staying near 42nd and 10th. Got up at 4:30 to catch a flight, walked 10 mi yesterday. Walk St, Dead Rabbit bar, Battery Park, 9/11 museum, Sarge’s deli, big store Christmas windows, Rock Center Christmas tree. Youngsters don’t appreciate fabulous old church architecture like I do. Sigh.

Will see Chicago, Rockettes. Good idea, cheesecake. Had genuine NY bagel, really good w/ Taylor ham, egg, cheese, but no better than a good bagel anywhere. The corned beef was best except for Boston..
