Friday night, I really can't say. Must have been errands or something.
Saturday, first oil change in the truck, ended up eating up way too much of my day. Watched a little baseball, worked on my planter box garden a bit, then went to the 3 Count Pro rasslin event.
Sunday, exam prep, more garden work, Country Boys is the place for 'mater and pepper plants. Watched more baseball.

Spent the weekend milling lumber and pouring epoxy to prep for a market. I don't typically do these sorts of things, but a) it helps get rid of excess offcut stock and b) it helps me get advertising, so I'll do a few of them to get my name out, and get a little bit of extra cash - maybe it'll be enough to add a festool domino into the mix.
Overall, though I'd say it was a solid weekend, no real ########, and I'm building progress, so I'll take it.

The epoxy in that one is actually white. I just wish I could get it sold - I'd live to have those material costs back so I could start on another - that slab alone was $800 (my cost)
I'm going to take it to the market with me and see if anybody wants to buy it. I've also got a Nakashima table that I'm going to finish up this week, which was much less cost, and will probably sell more quickly.

Friday, visit to RH Mom after work, back home for supper, and pretty much watched WWE and AEW all night and crashed early.
Saturday, up early to load the truck for Car Show fundraiser. Quick cup of coffee and a long hike with the pup since I would be gone all day, then drove out to the Galleria Mall and helped set up our booths for the day. Ran back to the house to shower and change, then back out to the mall around 10:30 where we proceeded to cook burgers and dogs for the car show crowd for a line that was continuously lengthy for three straight hours on a hot day over a hot grill in the middle of an asphalt parking lot. Cleaned up, tore down, loaded back up, drove home and unloaded, then a visit to RH Mom and then a hike with the pup. Back home to make a quick supper and must have fallen asleep in the Big Chair around 9:00 because I was whipped. Woke up around 11 to get the pup out one last time and went to bed. Fundraiser was pretty successful, I was told we came away with somewhere around $1600.
Sunday, lazy coffee morning until the pup decided it was go-time, a nice long hike around the new park where we met up with a neighbor up the road and his pup, the dogs ran around like feral beasts, stopped long enough for a poop duet, and then back home. Made a grocery run, visit to RH Mom, then off to the Thirsty Beaver to see Willie Heath Neal. EXCELLENT show and I highly recommend catching these guys (or Willie's main band The Waymores) if you can. We stayed way too late and drank way too many Miller High Lifes, but WORTH IT. Home to make a sandwich and then crash.
18.75/19 Covids, not perfect but very good.

Friday worked then chilled, IIRC. Nothing major of note.
Saturday up for a BEAUTIFUL day, BUT we had 4 soccer games spread across 3 teams on 3 different fields at 3 different parks across Wilmington. 9:30 daughter's soccer game, they won. Youngest son at 9:45 across town, he said they won, wife said tie, she took them and they were late. Meet back home to prep for second round of games. Middle son at 12:30 and daughter at 1:30. Wife took middle son to wrong field, honest mistake, but she was late anyways. I was there to meet them but when we realized wrong field, I headed south to see daughter's game. Other team forfeited, they only had 6 girls and 3 got sick at the first game from the heat. So daughter was 2-0 on the day. Wife got son to his game late and he was immediately subbed on and scored 2 goals and had 2 assists, they won 4-2. He plays better pissed off. Dinner at home and then watched Daisy Jones and the Six and then attempted to give the 6, nomsayin?
Sunday up for beach but the weather was uncooperative. Finally got out there about 1:00 and hung out until 3:30. Back to house for showers and to take daughter to Father John Misty concert. I am familiar with SOME of his music but kind of went into it blind, hoping I didn't waste money. The show was GREAT, venue is amazing, all around good time. Daughter really enjoyed it too so it was a win/win. Early-ish show so we were home to go to sleep at her normal bedtime. Watched Daisy Jones and the Six then fell asleep.

End of vacation week...

Was off last week and went on cruise with fam. Cruise was out of Cape Canaveral to eastern Caribbean. Weather was awful...rain, high winds, rough seas. Crew was telling us one of the worst they've seen...you know when the crew is getting sea sick it's tough. First port of call was cancelled due to conditions, then the stop the next day at the private island was cancelled and we got to go to Nassau on Wednesday. Poured the whole day there. Pretty much worst nightmare for me for a cruise. Did win some $$ in the casino though, so that's something. Gave my wife and son a long "I told you so" lecture and let them know I was taking back over vacation planning.
Got back in on Friday morning. Stopped for 1.5 hrs on I-95 so took almost 10 hrs to get back to Anderson.
Saturday...discovered tv in den had crapped out, so went out and purchased a new TV..and of course I had to go up by one size - 'cause that's how you do it. Raised the wall mount to compensate for new size...then tried to lift the dang thing up there with just me and daughter-of. hard fail. Took all 4 of us to lift it up high enough (over mantel above fire place) and get the dang thing to connect in. Finished product was excellent. Thought about going to spring game for about 30 sec and then watched it on said new TV instead. Did some house chores.
Sunday...pretty lazy. Finished my taxes. Messican for dinner. Bed early.

University Ridge condo facing Tillman. 4 couples friends since HS or before. Fabulous scenery walking by continuously. Thursday dinner at Lighhouse, Friday picked up new t-shirts etc downtown before $2 16 oz PBR's (with free Kuzi!) at TTT. TTT was oddly very empty, esp of college kids. Shopped for new panoramic Death Valley pic to replace my pre-west zone expansion pic. Fri evening baseball vs ND. Sat spring game, stopped by Esso for beers, new hat, and 1st set of the band. Brian Bresee was there shaking hands and posing for pics. Back to condo for Smoking Pig Q, beers and tunes watching babes walk by. Rolled home early Sunday. Most Excellent weekend.

They had a food truck thing where the streets were closed off. Food looked mostly meh, didn't eat. Little one got caught in a lie, when I confronted her about it the little psychopath doubled down. So, straight home and painted that barn door red. Pretty much ruined the night so that was about it.
Sat - woke up later than we wanted to, but got things together and headed out for Charleston for cousin's baby shower. Car ride took about an hour longer than it should have, which sucked. Little one wanted to play in the splashpad and pineapple fountain, so straight there. Got a quick appetizer at Pearlz, then headed to Baker and Brewer to meet wife's brother and his fam. Pizza was good and beer was good. Hit up Holy City for a bit to meet my brother, SIL and kid. Checked into hotel, place was pretty shidty.
Sun - Met bro and fam on the rooftop at vendue. Tommy Condon's for lunch, perused the market for the kids. Went to baby shower at Charleston Rifle Club, place is interesting. Quick stop at Brewlab since it is right next door before heading back to A-town.

Friday - Drove down to Beaufort, SC. Had dinner at Old Bull Tavern. Got the lamb shank. Highly recommend it. Saturday - Played 18 at Secession. Weather was great. Played like #### but drank a bunch of transfusions so didn't care. Grilled steak, garden fresh asparagus, and sweet potatoes for dinner. Sunday - Played another 18 at Secession. Played much better for me. Drove back to ATL.

Friday: stayed late at work for a late meeting that was canceled 4 minutes before 6PM. Came home prepped for the spring game.
Saturday: left home around 7:15AM, got to Clemson around 10:30. Went downtown and ate at Your Pie with my daughter, she was pleased with their gluten-free offings. Shopped a bit, went to the game. This was my first spring game in over 25 years. It was as boring as I recalled. Defense looked salty af, Klub was still making some bad decisions, RB behind Ship and Mafah as almost non-existent. BUTTT nothign compares to our ass_smelling WR group. Brannon Spector should pay Clemson back for his scholly because he's been outright stealing money from the school.
Saw bengaline at half. Dude was pounding Zima like he owned stock
Got home, tired af and showered and went to bed
Sunday: slept in a bit, took daughter food shopping, watched Arsenal give up a 2-0 lead to West Ham. Cleaned and cooked last night, meal prepped for this week and now I am in the midst of Meeting Monday. I have 8 meetings totaling six hours total, every Monday.
I can only hope we can discuss rescinding schollys to the WR today
By the way, that Brownell news over the weekend, if huge, is true

Tuesday night was a big pile of doodoo because of work, which ended up changing my Wednesday plans. Was going to go to the NY Int'l Auto Show, but instead I did absolutely nothing. I didn't leave the house, I didn't do anything at all, and it was everything I thought it could be.
Thursday I visited NYC and the Javits Center. That night I made lemony garlicky basily shrimp and pasta for dinner.
Friday I took my motorcycle for a long ride. Picked up a real nice ribeye and a small piece of salmon, both of which I grilled (salmon on a plank) for dinner. Had homemade tater salad and a bit of mac 'n cheese on the side. Pure gluttony. My wife came home from Central America late that night and the dogs and I stayed up for her.
Saturday it rained all day. Spent quality time with wifey.
Yesterday we went to a nursey and spent over $400 on plants. Came home, did yard work, planted stuff, made drumsticks with a little applewood smoke and Shealy's mustard bbq sauce.
Now I've got a case of the Mondays. I'll be spending most of the day pouring over the 300 unread emails in my inbox while I try to smile because it happened instead of crying because it's over.

Friday - ate well, began a new streaming series with the missus, early to bed.
Saturday - the usual morning routine - work, karate, also got a run in. But then the fun really began. Went out to lil'APMette's prom photo shoot. Good Lord. We didn't do any of this with lil'APM because of COVID. Last year for her junior year the prom stuff was pretty tame. Not this year. We were out for nearly two hours with photos. Longer than we took for our wedding photos. Then off to dinner and the prom. Then APM was awakened at 11:00ish for back home to change into casual clothes for "after prom" at the school. Then APM was awakened again at 0200 for coming home before going back out to "sleep over" (suuurrrre it is...) at a friend's house. Then back home around 1030 Sunday mawn.
I'm not really complaining, as lil'APMette will be off to Penn in August and I won't see her much being that far away, but FFS, the prom ain't what it was back in my day when we had it in the school cafeteria and the after party was at somebody's house.
Sunday - church, then a lot of laying around doing nothing.
Today I am off to Dulles to pick up lil'APM as he returns home from Dublin and his semester in Ireland.
These kids are doing more by age 21 than I did by the time I was 30. Hey, good for them. YOLO.

Friday: MfOjr. had ball practice.
Saturday: Made two pecan pies for friend. Stopped by the office. Couldn't get it. Took pies to friends. Mowed grass. Grilled and drank too much beer.
Sunday: Nursed hangover, picked up MfOjr. from moms. Went fishing and grilled.

RBC Heritage was a great finish
I feel like absolute fatasshit tho. even dialed back my drinking...just feel like my body is pumping playdoh through my veins, and idk why. guess we ate like teetotalass, so I'm assuming that's it.

Wednesday afternoon went fast on the river & deleted a bunch of busch lattes. Thu made rounds and got out of work by 10, picked up check from lawyer office for the house sale proceeds #winning. Drove to Columbia. Friday AM met my new partners and all the office staff, very excited to get started w the new job here soon. Deposited check in the bank then went and splurged on a case of some nice grape juice I’d had my eye on. Fri PM older brother cooked ribs and wings. Saturday took the wife and kids to the spring game. Offense still sucks, Clemson is still awesome. Lot 5 got nuked, I’d be seriously pissed about no shade if I was in that lot. Came back the the Dyrtle yesterday, drank beers in the driveway while the kids played and had a couple bottles of wine with dinner and woke up this morning feeling like a bag of smashed as>sholes.

Friday night - Rain. sonof-'s 12U baseball game cancelled
Saturday - overnight rain meant squishy fields, so the baseball games were pushed back to start. Rather than reschedule the early games, they pushed everyone back, but they didn't have umpires for games pushed to starting after 5:00...so... sonof-'s 3:00 game cancelled, had practice on the home field instead. Went OK.
Sunday - Church in the morning, lunch then bum around waiting for daughterof- to get done with practice so we can go look at cars (no, Quagmire, she's not old enough and no, no pics). Wifeof- and I are on completely different pages for expectations, and apparently, wifeof- has been telling daughterof- what we're looking for. So natch, daughterof- loves the $35k-before-dealer-bullshit-fees, brand new, car. That's more than $10k more than I'm willing to spend and about 4 years too new.
Ends with me saying no. daughterof- mad at me (because I'm the bad guy) and not at all willing to compromise what she wants. wifeof- miffed because we're not on the same page and apparently I'm stupid. bah.
Good beer with dinner Sunday night tho, so that made up for it.
