Valarie Cagle will be Player of the Year. It cannot legitimately go to anyone else. The comparison to the other two is a moot point.... even if it were based solely on hitting.

with the other two. Butt, neither of THEM is an elite pitcher on top of that. It should be a unanimous vote, unless some kind of regional bias comes into it.

My kids’ hitting coach (who has tremendous credibility in the softball world) point blank told me the player from Florida was the player of the year, saying she is clearly the best player. I just stared at her blankly. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Seems obvious to me.
