Forum observations and contemplations

Before I get some breakfast (oatmeal and fruit help your cholesterol and keep you regular - TMI)
- It seems you can post almost anything non Clemson football in the Tiger football forum like: "Best seafood restaurants in Savannah" which is neither football nor Clemson related (Ampitheater requirement) - http://www.tigernet.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=1458634&tstart=48 or stuff about other Clemson sports - http://www.tigernet.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=1458463&tstart=0
- You can post a lot of non Clemson related stuff in the Ampitheater and/or other main board forums (even if political in nature) if it at least has an indirect Clemson connection like an ACC tournament - http://www.tigernet.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=1458689&tstart=0
The points above are really not that big a deal to me (or most readers and posters) except for some double standards by posters and the mods: - Any post with anything about God or religion in it will get several replies about taking it to the P&R board and will eventually get sent, http://www.tigernet.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=1458689&tstart=0 The seafood topic had about 20 replies, none about taking it to the "Lunge" and it stayed on the "Mange". - There were many topics started about Dabo and the award and the speech and the FRC and the PFC which were both political and religious but since they were about the head FB coach, they stayed Main, fine, but a couple of 'em got "banished" to P&R. Why selective?
A few wonderings to finish my long chat: - Do many Tnetters visit P&R or the other boards (besides the Lounge) much except maybe to see where threads ended up? Most threads that are moved are probably started on the Main boards for this reason, to get some discussion before it dies in purgatory. - Do the mods move some threads as soon as they see them or do they let them sit awhile to observe reactions and traffic for ad purposes or whatever? Do they only move a couple to make a point? - Finally, why is anything God or religious so polarizing & intense? Is it because it affects or "attacks" your beliefs, emotions, convictions, your life in general?

He appears to be one of the founding members of TigerNet. Actually my now 19 year old son Alex started this account about 6 years ago based on what I called him as a kid and one of his little league baseball jersey #s. He never used it, so I took it.

This has me thinkin'. I like boiled shrimp and I like BBQ.
Maybe TigerNet ain't the best place to get directions to the pearly gates.
Goin' back to listening to country music. Them boys and gals makes more sense.
"God is great. Beer is good. People are crazy."

To answer your very last question, some of those

who profess to be Christians have bought hook line and sinker from conservative platforms that their faith is under attack, which is a load of bull. Those folks respond very LOUDLY to this while many other Christians see through the bull and understand things are allright. They can pray anytime. Churches aren't being shut down. They make up 95 percent of the population. It's allright, Christians.

The attack on Dabo isn't religious persecution...

it's cheap football recruiting. It backfired when the FRUTR did it and it will backfire again.
When they start feeding us to lions I'm gonna start complaining.
Oh yeah, the mods don't move much to the jounge or P&R boreds during downtime. This crap wouldn't last two hours during football season.
