How about the money? No mention here, but I heard that

the deal was going to be for $55 million with the ACC getting $27.5 million and the opponent getting $27.5 million. I wasn't expecting an even split. I thought the ACC would get more than the opponent. I'm disappointed in that, otherwise its good. Another thing disappointed in is that on years the Orange is a semi-final game, the ACC champ, if not in the playoff, will go to one of the host bowls. That will be either the Chick-Fil-A, Cotton, or Fiesta. My bet is it will be Chick Fil A every time.
Why? Because the release yesterday said the selection committee will place teams based on geography. So that sucks. It would be better if there was an opportunity for Cotton or Fiesta. I actually wish some other bowl besides Chick Fil A would get that host spot. Just the name, Chick fil A has too much baggage, plus it has always been nothing more than the ACC's second place bowl. So it is nothing special for an ACC team.
The more things change the more they stay the same! And the beat goes on! Meet the new boss, same as the old boss! The king is dead, now long live the king!

Talk about empty seats at a bowl game. Imaging how few fans would go to AZ, or TX, for that matter, when we have trouble drawing a full house close to home. I hope I am wrong, but past history doesn't indicate there would be a big crowd.
