By the looks of things there is a fair chance construction will not be done before the Wofford game. We are 5 weeks away.
I work in commercial construction and based on what I see here it will be close. For example the brick veneer that is not installed on the black wall area will take about 3 weeks. The Oculus scaffolding alone will take nearly a week to disassemble. There are fencing/railings, logos/signage, etc to install as well. Not to mention potential weather delays. I'm sure D-Rad is monitoring the schedule closely and will demand crew and shift increases if needed.
I'm staying optimistic and am excited to see the finished product on September 5th. However if not, at least from an exposure standpoint the national audience will not get a look at our latest gem until October 3rd when Neuter Dame shows up. GO TIGERS!

A good scaffolding crew can take that down in less than a day. I've seen bigger builds than that come down in a day.

I hope they put a giant cannon inside the top of it, on gameday they can launch t-shirts, snacks, cold drinks, kids prizes, tickets to the next home game, nachos with extra cheese. The options are limitless.
