Right now it is Bama, OSU, FSU, Clemson and then everyone else. Even without a QB those 4 teams have proven themselves as elite. I don't mind being ranked 4th because of the questions, but until USC proves something they are the best of everyone else.

Exactly! What have they done to prove they deserve being ranked? I also don't think Oklahoma deserves a top ten ranking. Guaruntee both of these teams get exposed just like they did last year and the year before

Talent does not always win but coaches know those teams have talent. Just like LSU and Auburn they always are ranked high because they have top 5 talent.

I can live with all the others. I really can. But Ohio State is all about coaches loving Meyer. They aren't going to be any better than last year. And we all know what pretenders they were last year. The Big 10 is a joke. They are what the ACC used to be. Seriously. Remember when everybody said that ACC teams were good because they all played each other close and it was anybody's game every week. And the ACC teams would get to bowl games and fail miserably? That is the Big 10 today. They look really good intraconference but then in big games out of conference, especially against the ACC, they stink.

I disagree.
Ohio State was a very good team last year, there just happened to be two teams that were head-and-shoulders above the others when playing at their peak. Ohio State was a year ahead of schedule last year and has a lot of starters coming back, along with elite recruiting and one of the best coaches in the nation.
They're going to be a very good team this coming season.

Agreed. They might be slightly over-ranked, but I think they are top 5 for sure. I don't see anyone 6-10 that I would put ahead of them at this time.

Also, they got rid of their god-awful OC's. With Kevin Wilson and Ryan Day running the offense and Schiano running the defense, they'll be really good again this year. People underrating them are stupid. Ed Warriner and Tim Beck leaving will mean their anemic offense will get much, much better. It's pretty arrogant to assume that the only team recruiting at a level even close to Bama will be worse than last year, given they return a metric sh*tload of talent and replaced idiot OC's with competent ones. Schiano will be fantastic as DC as well.

Did Deshaun play defense? Clemson's defense from ALL known accounts and sources, will be BETTER this season than last. Is it possible to score a negative amount?
All we would need this season is a QB that could get us in FG range. 3-0. Heck, the defense did that itself in the Fiesta Bowl.

Scooter, we all saw the 31-0 beat down.......last season. This poll pertains to THIS season. Just thought I 'd clear that up for you. It happened, get over it. It's one of the most successful teams of all time. If we won two more Natty's, we'd still ONLY have HALF of theirs. Calm down man, we all loved seeing it happen by stop painting a picture of them like last years game is a picture of their program. Makes you sound very ignorant.
