Clemson and FSU meet in October in Death Valley.
But he is just mimicking (aping??) what the sports media says too. I've heard more than one 'analyst' or commentator say the best hope for the ACC to rise up in significance again is FSU. We'll see!

Hey Mike,
Just read the "Clemson, Who's Your Daddy?" article. I have to say it's one of the finest pieces of monkey crap I've read. No objectivity, no facts... Just blatant homer opinions. If you're a homer, just say that and disassociate yourself as a "professional" writer. And c'mon dude... "Climpson"? Makes you look like a tween kid trolling a message board. It begs the question: did you write this just to generate hits and look moronic? I remember when the Orlando Sentinel was a solid bastion for sports news. Guess the world isn't the same as it once was. Anyway, so here's a news flash: This isn't the 1990's.
You mentioned the CU-WVU game from two years ago. Yes Clemson got beat down in that game. But who did Clemson beat on the way to the Orange Bowl? That's right, FSU. By the way, Clemson is not the same team they were 5 years ago, last year, or 3 decades ago. Swinney has built a great program from the ground up. You could say the same about Fisher. The ACC has become a 3 team league essentially with Clemson, FSU and maybe a wild card between Miami, VT, & UNC. But enough of that.
As I pointed out, you're a history buff and you keep saying "Who's Your Daddy?" I don't think that phrase means what you think it means. In the last 8 years Clemson is 5-3 vs FSU. This year, FSU has an unproven Freshman QB, 3 other offensive players and replacing 7 players on defense. This is not the same team as last season. And you think your Freshman QB puts up numbers comparable to a once in a lifetime Freshman QB campaign such as Mr. Manziel... oh I believe that when me sh** turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbet. I see the Noles going 9-3 with L's to Clemson, Florida, and crapping the bed against someone else.
But I think the Tigers and their fans should thank you. You just made some prime, A1 locker room material for the Tigers on October 19th in Death Valley. I might should mention this is a place where FSU has won only once this CENTURY. The last FSU QB to win at Death Valley is 32 years old now... Just saying.
