OP leaving us in the middle of the night hurt recruiting for years. You can't just pick up recruiting on the fly.
Doesn't take an insider to see what he is doing with what he had to work with. Will continue to get better and better. You get rid of him, prepare to be bad for another 5 or 6 years or keep him and we are in the tourny next year. I choose the latter as anyone with a brain would.

I would keep CBB another year (or two) because of the huge buyout. However, I would fire the ignorant person(s) responsible for giving CBB such a lucrative contract to begin with. THEY put us in this hole and they need to go. CBB would definitely be fired after 1-2 more years, depending on who is available to be our next coach. He would NOT get more contract extensions. EVER!!

The buyout, the extenuating circumstances around LJ referb, the incoming transfers we have coming . . . if we don't make the dance next year and / or have some BIG BIG advances in recruiting for 2017 / 2018 - then he has to go.
CBB needs to spend some time with CDS and get it figured out how to recruit better.
If JB stays, and with what we have coming in & supposedly the improvement in what we will have to offer recruits with LJ . . . it HAS to start looking like a COMPLETELY different story next year.
Or CBB is the wrong guy for the job.
