I haven't watched in over week except for games but thought I would check out the Early Signing Show.
Although they acknowledged Clemson was #1, all the talk when I was watching was how Bama or LSU was going to move ahead of Clemson. I switched to Charlton Heston western.

We will find out about LSU. But, Bama knows not to worry about if they have a better "graded class" than Clemson. We have beaten them with cumulative(5yr) classes outside the top 10 already. Them and Ohio State have had better rated players(on paper) the last time we played both.
It won't matter and ESPN can kiss my left "watcha-ma-call-it"!

Typical SEC hype. If you look at the actual signings of these SEC schools, the ratings do not match up with their recruiting class. Alabama in particular does not have the recruits to have a #2 ranking.

I'm not sure about the ESPN rankings, but 247 has Bama with 3 5 stars and 18 4 stars. If that's not deserving to be in the conversation for the #2 class then I don't know what is.

I swear you people only hear what you want to hear on espn.
The only reason they were talking about Bama or LSU jumping us was because they both still have a few highly rated recruits that are possibly going to commit. We do not. Therefore it is possible for them to jump us because the classes are so closely grouped together. Why would they not talk about who could end up being number one on a 4 hour show? I swear this board is full of softies. ESPN does NOT hate Clemson for gods sake.

It's not hate.
News is supposed to be impartial. You are supposed to as a Legit news or sports outlet be "impartial". This is what you confuse as Hate TigerLife2005. If you are going to cover top contenders - I feel people are saying, "give out the same amount of time"! If not, just stop pretending that you are impartial.
***I get it. Alabama, Ohio State, etc. have huge fan bases who want to see their team on tv. They are probably under a tremendous amount of stress from schools like them about "getting more coverage"! Yes, "more". The term little old Clemson is perfect and describes out I vision alumni from those big fan base schools who are unhappy ESPN spends time covering us.
Which would be fine - but just come out and say it! Don't pretend the rest of college football doesn't exist to satisfy the $$$$$$.
As I said earlier, Clemson has beaten these teams who have "MAY" end up with a higher class than us before with composite classes outside the top 10. No need to think that a class in the top 3 would hurt our chances of continuing to be able to play with those squads.

How does the OP know that ESPN hadn't just finished up a long segment about Clemson just before he turned the channel on, or spent a long segment talking about Clemson shortly after he turned off the channel?
