They cite the laptop, the computer store, the emails, the $400k, the millions from the Chinese...
And how may pathetic liberal reporters sung the Russian Disinformation song? How many lying democrat pundits went on camera hundreds of times spewing lies about the laptop being a ploy from the Russians.

I'd say Hunter Biden could well be going to jail. Dude was a drug addict. Anybody could see he's been compromised 50 different ways. Definitely is not going to make daddy look good, for sure, even though there's not the slightest sign Joe himself was remotely involved.
Where he got money, and how he got it into the States, is likely what's going to sink him if he ends up charged. Paper trails. The guy for durn sure wasn't any sort of master crook.
Might even be enough to keep Joe from running again. If he's still dragging low-40's or below come primary season it definitely invites a primary challenge...and I could see the right challenger unseating Joe.

Unless you can show he somehow falsified those, I wish you all the luck in the world trying to make anything legal stick. Shucks, nothing's stuck to Trump yet and he's got casinos and apartment blocks filled with Russians, Saudis, and international arms dealers.
Joe's not a big money spinner, he never was. Dude rode the same train to work for 40 years, lived in the same house...he wasn't interested in the Gangsta Roll or doing crime. He was comfie, he had the same (legal!) Golden Parachute coming his way all lifelong politicos have, he didn't have to be.
Sure, this stuff with his kid, if it goes down, isn't going to help a popularity rating that's already sagging, and could even result in him not running in 2024 or getting successfully primaried by someone with less...baggage.

Joe's nothing but a compromise candidate space-holder, not a cult of personality. You're playing a zero-sum game, trying to obliterate Joe like he's the queen in a game of chess, Trump's personal nemesis...he isn't. He's actually a pretty low-value piece, honestly, and you damage him to the point he doesn't run again or gets beat, all you're likely doing is offering the Dems a chance at an upgrade in 2024.

This isn't "the left". It's left, moderates, and real conservatives, all with critical thought and who know how to examine facts and evidence, who look at this case and can see it stinks of BS. The other side are desperate Trumpies who are just begging for it to be true.
And the punishment has already been determined to be coming on Nov. 3. Americans are fed up with all this crap. This case is an obvious and desperate fabricated hail mary. Anyone immediately felt this case was true without waiting for more information or facts is simply naive, gullible, and blindly partisan.
Sorry, the laptop and the Deep Poo that Hunter Biden appears to be in are separate issues.
Hunter was the target of all this smearing precisely because he was obviously dirty. I've been saying that all along. When you're mudslinging, you go after the obvious weak link, and somebody obviously dug for dirt on him and struck gold. (I'm mixing metaphors something awful there, but you get the idea.) He was a drug addict, he was running around the world taking money from obviously unsavory people while trading on Daddy's name, he was obviously compromised. Looks like Biden's brother James may have gotten dragged into some of the money stuff too.
That's politics. Dirty, but it's how it goes.
The laptop's a different issue. Legally it's completely inadmissible because it's the fruit of a tree so poisoned it's ridiculous. The chain of custody on that is so borked there's no coming back from it, ever. The story of how that repair-shop owner allegedly acquired it - but being blind couldn't quite ID the guy who dropped it off - is so obviously bogus it's cringeworthy. (Try putting that guy on the stand anywhere, see how it goes.) So how'd the laptop get there, loaded with incriminating E-mails and videos and photos of past sins? Gosh, I wonder. Who do we know who was looking for leverage on Biden again? And how'd it get in the hands of Rudy and Steve Bannon?

That said, if those E-mails were legit (even if obviously planted, and the laptop was clearly planted), and were just the product of a deliberately incriminating hack-and-dump, they still can be big glaring pointers the FBI can use to track down legit evidence that a competent defense attorney can't get thrown out in about six seconds. The laptop any first-year law student could get thrown out. Its contents...those can be verified other ways.
Which could be kind of rough on Hunter. And that's the problem with trading on Daddy's name and acting the fool all over the world. Bad people buy you, compromise you...and then use your dumb against you to beat your Daddy over the head with.
The laptop appearing when it did was just another manufactured "October Surprise", an attempt to influence the timing of the revelation. It fizzled because it was a clumsily obvious manufactured October Surprise with so many glaring red flags over it I can't quickly recount them, and the MSM wasn't going to follow News Corp and Rupert Murdoch down the primrose path again. And they won't, again, ever, like it or not. Dirty tricks work once, then everybody gets wise to them. And News Corp's credibility with the MSM, whatever sliver of credibility it might have once had, is completely blown. Permanently. And that's 100% on News Corp.
So this thing's going to play out, legally, like it should. If there's evidence against Hunter - or James - or even Joe himself (which I doubt, but let's assume it exists), they should go to jail. There's a long way between here and there but given what I've seen of Hunter so far, I doubt he put on a master class in Elite Crime. If Hunter was dirty, you'd think it might end up being pretty straightforward to prove. And that's not going to help Poppa Joe any.
But again...so what? Joe's just Some Guy doing a job. If enough of America loses faith in him, he'll get replaced. Isn't that how it's supposed to work? And shouldn't we maybe have a lot less faith in careerist insider professional politicians anyhow? What is it they say again about power corrupting?

I've only voted for one in my life and that was because the alternative was a horrifying, not-conservative con-man that was dangerous to our country IMO (and this proved to be true from 11/3/20 to present). As for Hunter, I've never given 2 shids about him or the laptop story. Drug addicts do all kinds of weird stuff, one of my late brothers is proof positive of that fact. I do take a little pleasure in that the DOJ now appears to be doing their job INDEPENDENTLY again. Remind me of when you corrected a COVID post of mine. Let's be honest, this has got to be low hanging fruit for a prosecutor. Hunter Biden is a crack head druggy with no skills that he was getting paid for except his Daddy was the VP. They probably have him for money laundering and tax evasion at the very least plus who know what other laws he broke. It just takes time to get the documentation together especially since Daddy is the POTUS. All I's have to be dotted and T's crossed.
As far as Joe, I doubt they have any documentation of money going directly to him. Surely, they were not that stupid. However, I will never believe a Politician Dad would see that his son or daughter all of a sudden is rolling in all these millions of dollars and not ask about his business or how you were earning all this money. It's highly likely Joe knew most of what was going on, but there's just not a paper trial to Joe.
