1. The Commissioner's of all our major conferences have one vote on CFP type decisions. Additionally Notre Dame’s AD has a vote. Currently the SEC has 16 members and the Big Ten has 18. We are all aware of the teams that they consist of. I know this is not new, but, can anyone give an explanation why one school’s AD’s vote is equivalent to Commissioner’s representing multiple schools.
2. How has Greg Stankey become more powerful than the NCAA? Hint…four initials, ESPN.
Greg Sankey is no more powerful than any other commish, but your ultimate point is correct ESPN and big media in general decide who go to what conferences now. Greg Sankey just plays the persona.
kind of like trump or any other president plays the fall guy persona for stupid bills passed and decisions made everyone falls for it other side says i told you so. rinse and repeat
