My moms brain tumor/cancer is not shrinking. It's growing. Nothing they can do at this point. They are sending all of her files back to Duke as a last ditch effort, but my mom just wants to maintain a good quality of life if nothing else. So not many treatment options left that wouldn't cause terrible side effects.
I have been on here for about 10 years with 3 different handles. I have been beat up by you guys more than the bullies in high school hammered on me, but I have met many of you and you all are good people. I just hope that someone on here can say a prayer that would make the difference for her. At least a comfort prayer. Feels are strong today.
Flying home on Thursday and I am already dreading that first eye contact with my mom. Holding back tears is now a full time job.
