I have a prayer request

I never do this, but I am going in for an endoscopy and colonoscopy on Thursday and I'm frightened. I want to know what's wrong, but I'm afraid to find out what the answer is. Please just keep me in your prayers over the next few days.

I saw a stat one time that 80% of what we worry about doesn't come to pass.
I hope all goes well. And, knowing the answer will help your doctor get you headed in the right path of treatment.

I've had a couple of colonoscopies... drank 64 oz Gatorade periodically with laxatives. It wasn't bad.. just be close to a bathroom.. lol! You're fast asleep and don't know any of the procedure!

You will obviously know more as a result of the procedures so consider that knowledge as a means of understanding. Listen to the Lord and seek his love and guidance in the aftermath. Have faith and trust in God to see you through what lies ahead.

I had a colonoscopy done three months ago. A mild diverticulosis was found, but not serious. Don't know if you've ever had this done before, but it's really simple. You sleep for what seems like two seconds and then you are awake! I think the procedure (colonoscopy) takes about 25 minutes. Not sure if the endoscopy is a bit longer. I will pray for you and the doctor(s). God bless!

The worst thing about a colonoscopy is not being able to drink coffee the morning of the procedure... absolutely barbaric!
Keep the faith... The Lord God said, "My grace is sufficient for thee."
Recover quickly... we need you at 100% on Saturday night!

I forgot to mention in my previous reply. You do have to drink a lot of a certain formula the night before and not eat the morning of the procedure. Believe me, you will be totally cleaned out after drinking it all! The meal you have afterwards will taste quite delicious.

Diagnosis, then treatment. I've had both procedures. Diagnosed pre-cancerous throat condition and pre-cancerous polyps down below. With treatment I'm now problem-free.
Good luck.

"A known bad thing is better than an unknown anything"
Based on your post, you already know something isn't right. It may be something very small or it may be serious. Having this test will reveal the path you must follow to make things right again.
Of course you have my prayers - and I can almost promise that once you know what you need to do next, you will feel better, regardless of what the tests show.

but remember, they may find NOTHING, and you remain sick, which can be a tough scenario as well. This happened to me and I ended up having to do my own research and vast communications w/ people, diet changes, herbs, enzymes, etc. And that is how I got well. It took two years.
