I learned this morning my sisters cancer has returned after just beating stage two breast cancer. Please, cherish your time together. You will never get it back. I love you guys.

Thanks Tiger family. She made it through surgery after a three hour delay at 530. Home now and she is resting after a little pain med. She is doing well. Thanks for your prayers and thoughts. Life is no guarantee, so make peace with love ones and forgive and take the high road. Go Tigers!

Up and going at 5 this morning. Her two bucks were in the yard eating corn she throws out for them. Some soreness and she wants to fix my breakfast. Good woman right there. Go Tigers.

She did well from the surgery. Test results in...triple negative which means the cancer is basal cell like. It has no real drugs for treatment at this time. They do chemo ( she had a port put in Wed) and starts 20 weeks of chemo today using two different drugs One 8 wks one 12 weeks After that radiation.
The first two years are the worse with this cancer. It spreads and it grows fast, thus the kinda shotgun approach even thought they can't see target. After two years the chance of survival is greater. Other cancers it gets worse after treatment. Breast cancer doesn't kill, it is the spreading to other places that does.
Check your women guys and do it regularly. Lift arm and see if you see any stipling of breast. Feel for lumps (might get something started here...wink) early detection is best. Of you think you find something follow up asap...tomorrow!!! Don't put it off.

Well day 1 of chemo down. It went well and she is a trooper. It gets tougher tomorrow.
