CBB Is Making The Program Better...

Though it has been painfully slow.
In his first seven years at Clemson, the Tigers were 124-103, a .546 clip.
In the last eight years, the Tigers are 168-92, a .646 clip. Big improvement.
One NCAA invitation in the first seven years. Four in the next eight. This year will mark the third time Clemson is ranked in the top 25 in the last eight years, something they did not accomplish in Brad's first seven years. And he was voted Sports Illustrated National Coach of the Year in 2018, again achieved within the last eight tears of his Tiger tenure.
So, there has been a steady, if glacially slow, improvement in Clemson's basketball fortunes.

The improvement is recent and comes with the rest of the ACC being down and the NIL and transfer market.
I'm fine with that, but to say he has improved over 15 years isn't realistic.
It looks like he might have a good formula for finding transfer talent while keeping some of the players we want to keep.
I'd really like to see a couple of more years of success because as we've seen from FSU and others a miss on the transfer portal can sink a season.

That's what embracing NIL and the portal will do. Applaud him for that.***

Agree but also just recruiting guys who can make free throws. I remember not so long ago when the squad, as a team couldn't shoot 50% from the line. I also remember when the Tiger Bigs didn't seem to be able to "figure it out" until the second semester of their senior year.
I'm all in with BB.
Go Tigers!

the beginning of Brad’s most successful seasons at Clemson. There is no other logical explanation for the turnaround.
