Why do you not press for a touchdown at the end of the game ?

A TD ensures worst case = Overtime.
A FG and you can still get beat.

I have never seen taking the foot off the gas work for Clemson ... ever.

ahead in to give backup players experience. He's won 2 National Championships and 8 ACC Championships doing it. In fact, this approach has been pointed out multiple times by announcers, reporters, and on tnet.

situations. I gave that kid a 25 % chance of making a game time winner from anywhere on that field. And when i say them call a run on 3rd down at the end of the game I was like...well crap.
