I have been a fan all of my life and will be!
I also am a fan of Dabo Sweeney and the way He does things!
The current portal and Nil will ruin College sports!
( perhaps it can be fixed I don’t know)
But Deon Sanders way of doing things will not even work this year! 2 games is not a season!

Deon was banging the drum for HBCU’s for 3 years and convinced quite a few star players that Jackson State was the place to be…..until it didn’t serve his purpose any longer.
He convinced many that HBCU’s were a big enough stage for their talents…..but not big enough for his talent as a player
He convinced his players and fans that he was SWAC…… until a bigger name came calling
You can’t blame someone for working hard to achieve their goals in life, but when Deon says his goal is to better these young men, these institutions and these leagues I’m a little skeptical. That may very well happen, but I suspect the MAIN goal for Deon has been and will continue to be the advancement and glorification of none other than DEON.

It's clear BD seems to think DJ's lack of success was that we didn't go to the portal for "WRs"...funny considering we had DJ's sHS teammate on the team (highly touted recruit).
Sad thing for him is he refuses to recognize his son has "slow eyes". It's how EJ Manuel was evaluated when he got to the pros...great talent but just didn't have it upstairs enough to read the field/past his first look.
It's not something you can fix, some kids just don't have it. DJ dominated in HS because it doesn't matter in HS as you just out talent the other team. Seems the OSU coaches understand this and have suited the offense around DJ for it.
It's not CFP level, nor for the NFL...sadly BD is clearly still bitter even though Dabo's loyalty to his kid cost us a CFP.
