Basinger is one of the best things going for this team.
Reality is that they haven't had an actual shortstop since their second season.
And... maybe if Knowler could make a play at first the game would be 3-0 or a clutch hit once in a while even more.
As much criticism as there is to go around, they are very enjoyable to watch and follow.

I'm watching the Baseball game and keeping up with Softball on Gametracker...Are they really playing in the Football stadium because they have a Softball facility?

It is some kind of multi-use field. The outfield fence is a green padded chain link fence that looks very temporary.

Their softball stadium is being upgraded. All games this year will be played in their football stadium.
Among the additions to the softball stadium will be "private party decks, concessions and merchandise booths, and a second deck of seating to expand seating capacity from 829 to 1,347 seats, which includes new premium and terrace deck seating options. For student-athletes, the new stadium will offer over 4,000 square feet of designated team space. Included in the plans are home and visitor locker rooms, a player lounge, athletic training facilities, video and meeting spaces, as well as on-site equipment and laundry facilities."
