I don't understand why schools willingly take kids like this.
Coaches are thinking they need to win a few games to keep a multi-million $ job so they take anyone who can help with their job security.

What a joke. This kid was at Memphis for less than 4 months. He was never even on the roster during any part of any season. He never played a snap before quitting his 3rd school.
Here's his timeline:
Jul 2019 - "commits" to Western Kentucky
Nov 2019 - de-commits from Western Kentucky
Nov 2019 - "commits" to South Carolina
Jan 2023 - enters transfer portal after 20 total carries at S.C.
Jan 2023 - "commits" to Miami(OH)
Dec 2023 - enters transfer portal after successful season (1000+ yards, 13 TDs)
Apr 2024 - "commits" to Mississippi State
Apr 2024 - changes mind, "commits" to Colorado
May 2024 - changes mind, "commits" to Ole Miss
Dec 2024 - enters transfer portal after 9 totals carries at Ole Miss
Dec 2024 - "commits" to Memphis

Before retirement job applications would come through my desk for review then we would make a decision in a group meeting on the best qualified individual(s).
One of the major looks was previous jobs held with dates. If an individual had multiple quick turnaround jobs it would indicate a red flag.
When you have multiple chances at multiple schools this should throw up a red flag and move on from that person.
