Participating in the Miss USA contest as Miss South Carolina

Didn't win, but very pretty young lady!

Miss South Carolina Kirby Elizabeth Self, 23, attended Clemson University, and she is pursuing a master's degree in corporate sustainability and innovation from the Harvard extension school. She also works as a coordinator for The Council for Educational Travel USA to set up high-school exchange programs, and she earned the SC Department of Commerce's Young Entrepreneurs Award.

Self volunteers for the nonprofit Girls on the Run, and she likes to fly airplanes and hike.
