the head football coach at Clemson, so I understand his answer, but you know good and well he's got input and he thinks about this a lot, and I guarantee you Dabo Swinney has a very strong, well thought out opinion on this matter.

I am sure he has an opinion like we all seem to have on this subject. I doubt he thinks about a lot as he has no control over the situation and it is something which might drag out a few years. I compare it to working at a company where they plan to spin off or sell your division but your job is not in jeopardy. You think about it often for a short time then it’s back to business until something actually happens

press conference, and I don't blame him, so he's got a pat answer to shut it down. He'd much rather talk about his team and players and the upcoming season. So would I, I get it. While I don't necessarily disagree with your analogy, I think Dabo is MUCH more than a worker bee in a big corporation, and we already know that he has strong opinions about the whirlwind of change that is looming for college football, as he's pontificated at length about it before. This lawsuit is one big part of that, and he has more skin in the game than just about anybody. So, while he is understandably trying to focus on his football team and the things he can control, I am sure that in a private conversation, Dabo would have a lot to say, maybe not about the details of the lawsuit in particular, but the bigger picture and how the lawsuit impacts it all.

The media would be so hard on him if he gave an honest opinion, they just ask but really can’t handle the truth.
The coot reporters would try to bury us anyway they could so it’s best to keep silent and choose your words wisely.
Dabo has opinions and probably knows the opinions of most of the coaches and Nick Saban too.
Dabo knows it’s going to be two super conferences soon enough and football will never be as big or like it was before.
Greed for winning, making money & getting the best players by all means by the powers that be in college football will continue to ruin the true innocence of the game. The downward trend started in the late 60’s to early 70’s as the popularity grew so fast but the real damage came after our last National Championship in early 2019.

I’ll guarantee you ALL Clemson coaches have had a chance to voice their opinion internally, but have also been told they best not comment on this to the media. Litigation is expensive and tricky. They don’t need a coach going rogue or saying something to hurt the case. The stakes are simply too high.
