The Balance Beam was the difference tonight in coming up short on the scoreboard,could have won based on the great finish they had in the last event on Floor Exercises

So so disappointing after the meet at unc. Let's face reality though. Not having Becca Wells would be like us going into this fall without Cade.
Or perhaps losing Sceff in bball. Vizz would win imo, but we'd win games by 14 instead of 31.

Rebecca had several 9.9+ on beam and floor. 🤷
Just very unfortunate. We most likely beat Zona and finish 2nd. Most assured we'd have won tonight and last week. It's bad for this year, but hopefully this gives us more depth and refinement + higher starting values for next year. Hopefully we can recruit or bring in a transfer that will score in all the exercises like Wells.

Side note: the T-Net board gets so enraged/divided over Portal and ruining Dabo's culture et al, but in every other sport you really don't even think about transfers... They're thought of as team players.

Really fun time at Littlejohn. These Tigers are skilled athletes. Wish they would have beaten the wolfies, but awesome nonetheless.

Impressive how they rallied on floor to narrow the gap in the final score. Beam and bars has certainly hurt the Tigers this year. Good to see them put together a solid bars last night. Vault scores haven’t been good enough to make up the difference. They are missing Wells as the all around to provide that solid 5th score. Clark’s wobble on beam was the difference, and having Wells performing on beam likely means they drop Clark’s score. Hopefully Wells is making progress with the injury and they can finish solid down the stretch to stay inside the top 30 for postseason.
