if Cade can handle it. If not, a portal QB is a must for us.
We cannot have another season of poor QB play. We got to make sure we get the at right.

..that would not be a great look for Dabo. He has cornered himself into a lose-lose situation for him.
Most likely scenario is Cade will get a few series but play calling will not help him and DJ will be back again.

And Dabo had the gall to bring DJ out for the victory formation.
And Dabo immediately said DJ is our guy and Cade is going back on the bench.
And Dabo had to put up with all the “QB Controversy” talk. He hated that.
There’s no way he’s letting Cade prove him wrong.
If Cade does get any playing time, it will be in a hopeless situation and/or he’ll get really bad play calls.
No way Dabo lets Cade show out.

I know if I was in Cade's situation I'd be p!ssed as all hell with how he's been treated this year. I feel bad for him since he's been thrown to the wolves and tossed back out the window right after by the very coaches who pretty much begged him to come spend his college years here.

There are issues but part of me wonders if the lackluster WR play is because they know there is a 28% chance the throw will even be in target. Also because DJ is not mobile it really limits the scheme and play calling. How many times do you remember Deshaun rolling out of the pocket to pass, and if he didn’t have something he took it with his legs. DJ simply cannot do that. Every elite QB right now can do that

Of course our offensive issues are more than just QB. But the fact we can potentially fix one of the glaring issues now and refuse to do it is another problem in itself.

Agree with this. For whatever reason Dabo decided weeks ago that DJs feelings were more important than the team or winning.

You have it wrong as to the numbers. He only needs to start the ACCCG.If he has what it takes you will find out. I mean it really does not matter if we win or lose that game record wise, we still would have a 10 win season .

This is exactly what should have happened already this season.
If you were Cade don't you think the transfer portal looks a lot more inviting than a 2023 season getting short shrift?
While it's fine to say #ALLIN it's now #ALLGONE when little opportunity is given to develop Cade as an asset. He isn't any worse than DJ a Junior and he's only a Freshman.
But #Daboknowsbest seems to be the new emperor has no clothes analogy.

Dabo has lost this team due to his stubborness to keep DJ in the SC game after showing that his passes were not in the same time zone as our receivers. Dabo can get this team back, but he needs to show that he is more about the winning again and #### the hurt feelings and egos.
Start Cade and just see how the team performs as he can hand off to Shipley, Mafah, and Pace maybe even better than DJ and the running will win the next games, not the passing with the receivers we currently have.
